Fuel

Oil shale of fractions 0-25 mm is used as fuel for steam boilers. Oil shale oil is used as reserve fuel and initiation of the burning process. Natural gas is used as fuel for combined station.

AS Sillamae SEJ provides customers with following types of energy:

- Electric energy
- Steam (0,4 MPa, 250 ^oC)
- Heating water
- Technological water
- Drinkable water

AS Sillamae SEJ is a sole heat energy producer for Sillamae energy market and it totally covers consumers' demand.
Generated electric power is consumed mostly by the companies belonging to AS Silmet Grupp and by the other Sillamäe Customs Free Zone companies.
